Terms and Conditions
1: Welcome
Welcome to Reiki by Kristin and I look forward to working with you on your reiki journey. It is important that you read these terms and conditions and understand that by booking a reiki session you agree to these terms.
2: Confidentiality
All personal information shared during reiki sessions (both face-to-face or remote) is kept strictly confidential and managed in accordance with UK data protection regulations. Personal information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent except where required by law. Clients are also encouraged to respect the confidentiality of the Reiki sessions.
3: Bookings and Payments
● All payments must be made in advance to secure your booking.
● Bookings are only confirmed after payment is received via bank transfer.
● Please ensure you reference your payment with your full name.
4: Cancellation and Refund Policy
● A 24-hour cancellation policy applies – if you need to amend or cancel your scheduled appointment you MUST provide at least 24 hours notice.
● Late cancellations or amendments made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment are non-refundable.
● If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment the full cost of the session will be charged.
5: Appointment Guidelines
● Complete the consent form in full ensuring it is accurate so that we can discuss this before your reiki session begins.
● For remote sessions be prepared for your pre-video call 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
Alternatively a photo can be provided if a 15 minute call is not possible due to time differences.
● Reiki by Kristin is unable to offer reiki for persons under the age of 18 years at the moment.
6: Providers Rights
Reiki by Kristin reserve the right to refuse or discontinue reiki sessions including but not limited to:
● If the client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
● The client behaves inappropriately, is offensive or mistreats the provider in any way.
● If the client is unwell or has a medical condition that means it is not safe to continue with Reiki.
7: Disclaimer
● Services provided by Reiki by Kristin are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
● Reiki and related services are spiritual and intuitive in nature which means that results may vary.
● Clients are responsible for their own health and well being and for any decisions made based on feedback or suggestions from Reiki sessions.
8: Limitation of Liability
Reiki by Kristin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Clients will indemnify Reiki by Kristin against any claims, damages, or losses resulting from their use of the services.
9: Country of eligibility
Due to insurance and jurisdiction requirements, remote Reiki sessions are not currently available to clients residing in the United States of America or Canada.
By booking, the client confirms that they do not reside in the USA or Canada. If a booking is made by a client residing in the USA or Canada, the booking will be cancelled and refunded.
